2016 was nearly a perfect growing season.
The season started early, saw ideal weather conditions throughout and wrapped up just before the first significant rainstorm hit on October 16th. Thanks to a steady and mild summer and then some warm days at the end of the growing season, vineyards were able to achieve incredible balance in ripeness and maturity.
Tasting Notes
This wine is dark garnet in color with layers of blackberry, black cherry, sweet spice, and subtle hints of oak. On the palate, there is bold, dark fruit at the forefront of this full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon that gives way to flavors of cocoa, nutmeg tasty cherry. The tannins are soft, but chewy and balanced by refreshing acidity on the long finish.
Enjoy! Cheers!
