The 2016 growing season overall was really warm, which was similar to 2015. The biggest difference was the spring rain, which encouraged the vines to produce a lot more growth.
Elegantly textured with bright acidity and a silky mouthfeel. This Franc has a generous core of fruit and fine-grained structuring tannins. The tannins are very soft in the mouth. It’s light on the palate but firm at the same time.
This wine serves up attractive and focused aromas and flavors of black fruit and savory earth. Its rich palate textures should pair it nicely with grilled pork chops or a great happy hour or a nice cigar.
Enjoy!Cheers!
