2013 Waugh Russian River Pinot Noir
Harvest Date: September 4th and 19th
Brix: 23.9 and pH: 3.73
Alcohol: 14.0%
Production: 210 Cases
100% Pinot Noir
Light purplish ruby; attractive, fragrant, cherry, pomegranate, and other red berry fruit aroma with hints of spices; medium to medium-full body; sharp, cranberry and cherry fruit flavors with bright acidity; medium tannin; lingering aftertaste. Shows elegance and some complexity as it develops with airing in the glass and warrants further bottle aging.
The wine was aged for 12 months in 100% neutral oak barrels, allowing the fruit and terroir to completely shine, and bottled aged for 12 months prior to releasing to the FOWCers.
As always the Waugh Cellars Russian River Pinot is a blend of our 3 RRV vineyards and is 100% Pinot Noir.
Enjoy! Cheers!
